Challenge

The government of Randers aims to enhance the aesthetic lighting of the city by planning the construction of a landscape leisure area along the river. This project will not only increase recreational spaces in the city but also add a beautiful scenic line. An important consideration during project planning is the installation of garden lights to enhance the nighttime landscape. Therefore, the selection of garden lights is crucial. They must not only be visually appealing and complement the landscape design but also provide sufficient brightness to illuminate the city at night effectively. Most importantly, cost savings are essential, which requires the lights to be energy-efficient to reduce electricity consumption. Additionally, the lights should minimize maintenance frequency to save on upkeep costs. The requirements for selecting lighting fixtures are very high.

Solution

• Based on their needs and in line with their landscape design, we proposed using our SL51 model as the primary lighting for their landscape project. The SL51 LED light has excellent luminous efficiency, providing bright and even illumination while consuming only 50% of the energy used by traditional halogen lights. This significantly reduces energy consumption and costs during operation. Additionally, it allows for adjustable color temperatures, ranging from warm light to cool white, creating different atmospheres. 
• The SL51 offers a long lifespan and strong weather resistance. JR Lighting’s garden lights typically last up to 50,000 hours, which is several times longer than traditional lighting fixtures. Once installed, the LED garden lights do not need to be replaced for a long time, reducing maintenance hassle. They also feature excellent waterproof and dustproof capabilities, making them suitable for various outdoor environments and less prone to damage. 
• The lights can connect to smart control systems, allowing for automatic adjustments based on light intensity, time, or weather conditions. They can even be controlled remotely via computer applications, enhancing convenience and energy-saving effectiveness.

Result: Attracting Tourists, Reducing Costs, High Resident Satisfaction

• After the project was completed, citizens were very satisfied with the newly built riverside landscape. Especially at night, when the lights are turned on, it adds a unique beauty to the city. Residents come out in the evenings to play and take photos, providing them with a beautiful leisure spot. Some tourists also come to visit at night, making it a popular scenic spot that has generated considerable revenue.
• Even more astonishing is that after starting to use it, the monthly electricity consumption has been very low, significantly less than the expected electricity costs, greatly saving on expenses. Moreover, there has been virtually no damage to the lights, eliminating the hassle and costs of maintenance.
• Since the riverside landscape was completed, citizens feel that their city is becoming more beautiful and modern, and they perceive their living environment as improving. Resident satisfaction is very high. People are reluctant to leave for other cities, and more investors are coming in, leading to rapid economic development in the city.
