They are suitable for: open, unobstructed areas (such as the center of warehouses or factory workshops); roofs with space-frame structures (where fixtures can be evenly suspended from the frame nodes); and specific workstations requiring concentrated lighting (narrow-beam UFO lights can be used for focused illumination).

Linear High-Bay Lights: Feature a rectangular light distribution. They are suitable for: long, narrow aisles (such as those between storage racks or along assembly lines);

supermarket shelving areas (installed parallel to the aisles); assembly lines requiring continuous, shadow-free lighting; low-ceiling spaces (linear lights can be surface-mounted to the ceiling, reducing the sense of confinement); and applications requiring uniform illumination across a rectangular area (using multiple linear lights arranged side-by-side).

In actual projects, a combination is often used: UFO lights for the center of the workshop, with linear lights supplementing the perimeter or aisles. The choice depends primarily on the workshop's layout and the distribution of work areas.
