If you need more granular control—like addressing individual fixtures or integrating with a building management system—look into DALI, which uses digital commands to let you program scenes and monitor energy use fixture by fixture. For residential-style settings or small offices, TRIAC/phase-cut dimming exists, but it’s often a headache with commercial LED loads due to flicker and compatibility issues, so most pros avoid it for high bays.
Before you buy, check the spec sheet for "0-10V," "DALI," or "dimmable driver" labels, and inspect the wiring compartment for the extra pair of purple and gray (or pink) leads—that’s your sign it's ready for dimming.
