Based on the mast-to-foundation connection method:
1. Flange-mounted: A flange plate is welded to the base of the mast and secured to the concrete foundation using anchor bolts. This is the most common method and is suitable for masts of all heights. Installation requires the top surface of the foundation to be level and the anchor bolts to be positioned with precise protrusion lengths.
2. Direct-buried: The lower end of the mast is embedded directly into the concrete foundation, eliminating the need for a flange. While this method saves steel, it imposes strict requirements regarding burial depth and corrosion protection; furthermore, correcting the mast's alignment if it tilts is difficult, so this method is rarely used.
Based on the luminaire assembly lifting method:
1. Internal lifting system: The winch is installed inside the base of the mast, and the steel cables run internally, resulting in a clean appearance. Suitable for heights under 25 meters.
2. External lifting system: The winch and steel cables are located outside the mast; while this facilitates maintenance, it affects the visual aesthetics.
3. Fixed type: No lifting system is used; the luminaire assembly is permanently fixed to the top of the mast.
Based on the luminaire assembly fixation method:
1. Plug-in/Bolt-on connection: The luminaire assembly connects to the top of the mast via locking pins or bolts.
2. Suspended connection: The luminaire assembly is suspended from a crossbeam at the top of the mast using steel cables or chains.
When selecting an installation method, factors such as cost, ease of maintenance, site conditions, and aesthetic requirements must be comprehensively considered.
